M2 Platform Lets Users Apply for Mortgages in Five Minutes
M2, working with VTB and VTB Registrar, has streamlined mortgage applications, cutting decision times to 3–5 minutes.

Since the service launched in summer 2025, more than 2,500 users—about 5% of the platform’s audience—have used it. In February 2026, M2 expanded the digital application: co-borrowers can now submit forms alongside the primary applicant via Tsifrovoy profil grazhdanina (Digital Citizen Profile) on Gosuslugi (public services portal).
The process is straightforward: users log in through Gosuslugi, grant the required consents, and their digital profile automatically populates the application. Data is exchanged through the secure SMEV system, and the transaction is signed with the Gosklyuch enhanced qualified electronic signature.
“The update launched in February 2026 cuts
the time needed to complete a mortgage application in half, and decisions now
take just 3–5 minutes instead of 15. Verified data from the Digital Profile
increases the likelihood of loan approval,” said Yulia Rykunova, co-founder and
chief business development officer at M2.
