Moscow Region Signs Five Industrial Robotics Agreements at SPIEF
The agreements were signed during SPIEF 2026.
The Moscow Region signed five agreements focused on advancing industrial robotics during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Governor Andrey Vorobyov said. According to Vorobyov, regional authorities have developed a broad package of support measures aimed at accelerating industrial automation.
"We have developed a support program in two areas. The first is for companies that manufacture robots, and the second is for companies that deploy robots in their production facilities. If you manufacture robots, we can help you build a factory and offer funding for capital investments, or provide preferential lease terms in our state-owned industrial parks," Vorobyov said.
According to the governor, the priority now is not only to increase robot production. It is equally important to create conditions that encourage companies to adopt robotic systems. That means high-tech products must be as competitive as possible.
