MAX Messaging App in Russia Nears Nationwide User Scale
The national platform has reached 107 million users in its first year, with daily activity exceeding 77 million.
Since its launch on March 26, 2025, the MAX messaging app has registered 107 million users. By March 2026, its daily active audience had reached 77 million. Users send more than 1.5 billion messages and make around 30 million calls every day.
MAX is available in 40 countries, including markets across the CIS, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. The number of international users has already surpassed 5 million.
Channels and Subscriptions
The platform hosts more than 3.5 million channels featuring content from media outlets, popular bloggers, and influencers. Total subscriptions have exceeded 200 million.
The MAX platform combines chats, audio and video calls, voice messages, large file sharing, and money transfers. Content channels are still operating in test mode. The app also includes business services in the form of mini-apps and chatbots. It is listed in Russia’s registry of domestic software and is available on mobile devices, desktops, and via a web version.
