Rosatom to Help Build Egypt's First Nuclear Medicine Center
Rosatom has signed a cooperation agreement with Egypt's healthcare authority to support the construction of the country's first nuclear medicine center.

Under the agreement, the two sides will work together to build the country's first nuclear medicine center.
The planned facility will include a radiopharmaceutical production unit with its own cyclotron complex, a molecular imaging department equipped with positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scanners, a radionuclide therapy department, and other specialized medical facilities.
The project is expected to improve access to advanced medical care in Egypt while strengthening Russia's position as one of the world's leading exporters of high technology.
