Positive Technologies Develops Platform to Predict Supply Chain Cyberattacks
Positive Technologies is developing the Kiberpogoda (Cyber Weather) platform to forecast cyberattacks and assess business risks across an organization's entire partner ecosystem. The platform is designed to analyze threats affecting a customer's entire ecosystem, including the parent company, subsidiaries, contractors, and suppliers.

The platform continuously monitors attacker activity, including discussions on dark web forums and Telegram channels, the sale of unauthorized access to corporate networks, and the emergence of phishing domains. Its proprietary machine learning models analyze these signals and generate specific attack scenarios. The results are delivered in a daily report with practical recommendations presented in business language rather than technical jargon, making them easier for executives to use.
According to the company's analysts, attacks carried out through contractors accounted for 12% of all cyber incidents in 2025. That figure rose to 20% in the first half of 2026. The developers estimate the Russian market for this type of solution at 5.5–6.6 billion rubles (approximately $76–91 million) over the next three years and expect to capture at least a 12% share.
