Tyumen Launches AI Chatbot to Help Students Choose a Career

The Tyumen Region has launched MasterYasha (Career Guide), a chatbot that helps school students and their parents navigate secondary vocational education. Developed by the regional Department of Education and Science, the service is available through the MAX messenger.

The chatbot includes a directory of occupations, information about every secondary vocational education institution in the region, and answers to frequently asked questions from prospective students. The project's goal is to turn the process of choosing a future career from a source of stress into an engaging experience.

"The chatbot includes a directory of occupations, information about all secondary vocational education institutions, and answers to the most common questions from prospective students," the regional government's press office said.

MasterYasha has become part of a broader effort to digitize education across the region. Tyumen schools already use a Tsifrovoy Repetitor (Digital Tutor) service to help students master difficult subjects, while parents can check their children's academic progress through the voice assistant Alice. Deputy Governor Stanislav Loginov highlighted these initiatives at the International IT Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk.
