Students at Sibirskiy gosudarstvennyy meditsinskiy universitet (Siberian State Medical University) in Tomsk have developed an AI-based platform designed to streamline the learning process, the university’s press service said. The solution addresses the common problem of fragmented study materials, where lectures, notes and resources are scattered across different formats and sources.

The platform, Arkanon, allows users to upload full textbooks or request information on a topic from scratch. Disorganized files are transformed into a personalized knowledge base with texts, flashcards and even built-in testing tools.

Learning Through Mini-Games

The developers implemented a spaced repetition system that adapts to user responses and individual learning dynamics. The platform analyzes how each student retains information and adjusts content delivery accordingly. Multiple AI models are used to generate learning materials.

According to project author Alisa Slidnevskaya, Arkanon can be used to study languages, programming, exact sciences and other subjects. Data is synchronized and accessible from any device. In the near future, the platform will introduce mini-games and other interactive elements to make learning more engaging and effective.
