Public Sector Agencies Want Clear, Measurable Results From AI
Rostelecom and HSE University in St. Petersburg have identified the AI solutions government agencies need. The findings were presented at the Digital Solutions Forum.
Experts analyzed more than 400 vetted solutions from the Digital Region platform, interviewed representatives of regional government agencies, and created an interactive catalog to help officials find suitable technologies.
The study found that 90% of the solutions are designed to reduce the time and labor required to carry out government work. Public agencies favor customized products and projects that can deliver realistic results quickly. Public administration, healthcare, and transportation are the sectors best prepared to adopt AI.
The findings will serve as the basis for an educational program to help AI startups adapt their products to government requirements.
