"The digital transformation of the construction industry requires a fundamental overhaul of engineering education. Our graduates must not only understand construction techniques and technologies but also be proficient in advanced industry software," said MGSU Rector Pavel Akimov.

Students are trained to analyze large datasets, model the behavior of complex structures, and manage construction projects in digital environments. The university delivers much of its practical training in partnership with construction companies, whose professionals also lead lectures and hands-on workshops.

MGSU is also expanding its Open Construction University platform to provide educational opportunities for students across Russia. As part of the national Priority 2030 program, the university conducts research in construction technologies and ranks 24th overall among participating institutions. A world-class university campus is expected to become one of the program's flagship projects.
