In Russia, the Staffcop Security System Is Designed to Prevent the Loss of Digital Keys
The Staffcop security platform now supports all current and previously released Rutoken USB tokens.

Staffcop, a system for investigating internal information security incidents and monitoring employee activity, has expanded its compatibility with Rutoken devices. The platform can now track the connection and use of USB tokens, helping administrators identify violations of corporate security policies.
Monitoring is carried out through an external media manager and standard device-monitoring mechanisms. Administrators can set individual restrictions on token use for specific employees or usage scenarios and access a complete history of how electronic key carriers are used. In practical terms, the new functionality enables full control over the use of digital signature keys and helps detect breaches of internal rules governing cryptographic devices.
Violators Will Not Go Unnoticed
Support for Rutoken USB tokens makes it possible to quickly identify the most common violations associated with handling personal digital signature keys. These include using someone else’s device, passing tokens between employees, working with key carriers outside of monitoring controls, and unsafe handling of PIN codes. Such situations are among the most frequent causes of disputes when legally binding documents are signed or during internal investigations.
Evidence in Plain Sight
According to Daniil Borislavsky, product director at Staffcop and an expert at Kontur.Egida, the new feature improves process manageability and strengthens the evidentiary base in disputed cases.
Pavel Anfimov, deputy director for product management at Aktiv, also welcomed the integration
In its current version, Staffcop supports monitoring across the full lineup of Rutoken USB tokens, including Rutoken EDS 3.0, Rutoken Lite, and the discontinued Rutoken S. The functionality is available in the system’s agent component for Windows, starting with Windows 7. Support for Linux and macOS is planned for future updates.
