Yandex Moves to Protect AI-Powered Business Applications
Yandex B2B Tech, in partnership with SolidLab, has launched a new product designed to protect AI applications from cyberattacks, including neural network-driven DDoS attacks.
The new gateway, SolidWall AI Security Gateway, acts as a barrier between external networks and a company’s AI systems: it monitors what data is sent to applications and blocks unauthorized access. The product can be deployed either within a client’s own infrastructure or in the cloud.
Meanwhile, the company updated two existing services. Yandex Smart Web Security now includes protection against DDoS attacks at network layers L3 and L4, as well as a new SolidWall WAF module that analyzes user behavior and helps detect bots. The Security Deck service has been expanded with a vulnerability management module that supports applications across all stages - from development to full-scale production use.
In its statement, the company said SolidWall AI Security Gateway protects businesses from common AI-related threats and large-scale DDoS attacks, including those using neural networks.
