Unified Knowledge Base for Youth Policy Specialists Launched in Russia
A new digital platform brings together documents, tools, and best practices for professionals working with youth

The Yamolod youth education center, a project of Rosmolodezh, has launched a digital platform that consolidates key documents, regulations, digital tools, and best practices for professionals working in the youth sector.
What’s Inside
The knowledge base is organized into several sections. The “Specialist Toolkit” includes a catalog of useful services, sample letters, and document templates. The “Youth Policy Standards” section contains up-to-date federal and regional laws, bylaws, and internal regulations. A “Glossary” helps users quickly navigate professional terms and abbreviations.
Most materials are applicable across regions. The platform is regularly updated, and users can submit their own best practices via a feedback form. After moderation, these contributions become available to colleagues.
Yamal as a Center of Expertise
The Yamolod youth education center opened in the Yamal region last year. The region has topped the national youth policy implementation ranking for four consecutive years. Last year, Yamal won the federal competition “Region for Youth,” and its media channel was named the best regional youth media outlet at the SHUM awards.
The center now includes a methodological support department that develops unified standards for youth work. Specialists produce comprehensive materials such as event plans, presentations, and practical guidelines for use across regions.
Improving professional qualifications through the new platform is expected to enhance the quality of youth programs across Russia.
