Skolkovo to Build Upside Tech Research Park
The new facility is designed for companies focused on research and engineering development.
A new technology park called Upside Tech is to be built at the Skolkovo Innovation Center. The complex will cover about 55,000 square meters and is expected to house companies working in IT, electronics, unmanned technologies, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, robotics, and the chemical industry.
The primary goal of the project is to create a dedicated base for companies engaged in research and engineering development. The facility will include ISO 7 cleanrooms for microelectronics and biotechnology production, with selected areas capable of being upgraded to the more stringent ISO 5 standard.
The project also allows for the installation of liquid nitrogen storage tanks, specialized chemical wastewater treatment systems, and additional cooling capacity for high-tech equipment.
