Sber's AI Models Become Creative Partners in St. Petersburg Ballet Premiere
Sber served as the technology partner for the Boris Eifman Dance Academy's graduation performances on June 24 and 25 in St. Petersburg, using its GigaChat and Kandinsky neural networks to create the visual design for the premiere of the ballet Academy 2.0.
Set to the music of Georges Bizet, the ballet features an AI-generated visual narrative unfolding across four interconnected acts. Images displayed on stage screens move in precise synchronization with the music and choreography, pausing during moments of silence and expanding with the score's rising intensity. In the finale, visual and musical themes from all four acts converge.
The project used the GigaChat 3.0 Ultra model to analyze the performance and develop its visual language, while Kandinsky 5.0 Video Pro generated the visual sequences. The premiere is taking place during the year of Sber's 185th anniversary.
